The Ubiquiti UniFi UPS 2U is a backup power supply unit designed for network devices, ensuring their operation during a power outage. The device features a 2U rackmount and includes 8 power sockets for connecting equipment. Of these, 4 sockets (C13) provide surge protection, while the remaining 4 sockets (C13) offer combined protection—both surge and power outage protection.

Continuous power is ensured by a 2x hot-swap replaceable batteries, which allow battery replacement while the unit remains operational, without the need to power it down. This ensures that connected devices remain continuously powered even during maintenance or battery replacement. The device is equipped with a Power button and a Factory Reset button, and features LED indicator. LED indicator displays the status of the device itself and indicates the battery status. At full load, the backup power supply can power connected devices for approximately 2,3 minutes. At half load, the runtime extends to about 8 minutes. Charging the battery to 90% capacity takes approximately 6 to 8 hours. The UPS-2U unit connects to the network interface via a 10/100MbE port.
