The back of the switch has a slot for an expansion card, which can add 8x SFP+ or 4x SFP28 ports (software configurable). Cooling is provided by a pair of hot swap fans. A power supply needs to be purchased separately, and it also supports dual power supplies for redundancy and hot swap replacement. Four power supplies are available, each with different input voltages and power ratings, with or without a fan. If two power supplies are used, fan and fanless models cannot be combined.
